I was so excited when I received your product. It took me less than an hour to completely have the system up and running. Quality product and well engineered made the installation smooth and quick.
I calibrated the controller and the next day it was right on. It has been two months and it’s still on target. Not having to handle acid any longer is a win-win for me.
Used the system for a couple of years now and it works great. When I first purchased my CO2 tanks [the supplier] asked me what I was going to use them for and I told him I was going to use the CO2 to control the pH in my pool. He told me my three tanks would last about a month. This year when I refilled the tanks I informed him the three tanks lasted all year, and it looks like they’re going to again this year. Pretty good deal!
I purchased the CO2 system to control the pH in my 36000 gallon gunite pool and was very skeptical about it. I had the pool replastered and added a Circupool SWG almost 2 years ago. Since that time, it has been a constant battle to get and keep the pH below 8.0. I have poured 2 quarts of acid in about every 2 or 3 days since and, of course, had to keep adding Alkalinity Up, since the acid would bring it down. This was an on going nightmare. When I received your pH Control System, I found it easy to install and it immediately dropped the pH to about 7.4. I mean literally overnight. I am using 3-20lb cylinders for the CO2 and would recommend others do the same. The controls are easy and so far (about 3 weeks) everything is great and I only check the control box to fine tune the pH level. No sweat. I absolutely LOVE my system. Alex was the best when it came to explanation and installation. It makes owning a swimming pool so much easier. No more pouring acid in the pool. This system consistently keeps my pH at 7.4 and is better for the environment. I love my system and they are AWESOME to deal with!
Surprisingly easy!
Got the CO2 tanks a couple days after receiving the pH controller. I hung the controller on the wall, connected the tubes from there to the tanks and pump, and plugged it in. Took me a few days to adjust it, and now it looks like it’s doing the job!
It is my pleasure to highly recommend Poolsmith Technologies to any do-it-yourself type of residential pool person. Being that I have a salt cell pool system, I realized that my pH level was always high and I frequently (daily) would have to place Muriatic Acid into my pool – and even that didn’t make it right. My pH stayed around 7.8 and 7.9. I became frustrated with the daily routine and the exposure to the harsh chemical.
It didn’t take long to start googling ways to keep pH down in your pool and came across Poolsmith and their CO2 process. I was immediately interested in this technology. I watched their youtube video. I called Alex and his wife Carmelle and they were MORE than helpful in the education process of their product. What’s more – they let you try it out and will give you your money back if you don’t like it – but I highly doubt that would happen.
My pH is perfect at a 7.5.

I’m in the Village of San Leanna, which is in the south end of Austin, Texas. My pool is 10,000-12,000 gallons and I run a copper ion sanitizer system. That means no chlorine, which is great.
My water is from the village well and is crazy when it comes to balancing my pool. For starters, out of the tap the total alkalinity (TA) is 280 and the hardness is 340. But that’s not all. Untreated the pH goes up every day.
I didn’t know what to do. Searching the internet I found out that carbon dioxide (CO2) will lower pH and leave TA unaffected. I then found Poolsmith Technologies’ website and read up on their CO2 pool system. Given their return policy I figured I had nothing to lose, so I got their triple twenty-pound tank system.
I’m here to tell you it really works. I now have a steady pH of 7.5. I do not know what I would have done without Poolsmith Technologies. Alex was available to help me with the setup and is always there when any questions about the system arise.
I tested my pH after running CO2 for a week and the pH dropped from 7.9 to 7.6. I am really happy and the alkalinity has stayed stable. I had the water tested at the pool shop and the guy was amazed. I just wanted to pass along my gratitude in creating such a great system!
Nice company to deal with. I ordered this on a Monday and had it up and running before the end of the week. It was easy to set up but I had a couple questions and the support people were excellent.
This thing is a game changer. I added it to my package at the last minute, after talking to Jason at Discount Salt Pool. It’s easy to install and does the work for me. The only thing left I have to do is rake the leaves out of my pool.

As a dietitian I hate using any kind of acid on anything that is going to touch my skin. This gets rid of the muriatic acid I was using in my pool. Expensive but worth it for me.
